Introducing VOLÉE
"Volée" comes from the French word voler, meaning "to fly." VOLÉE embodies the lightness of being—bright light, summery colors, relaxation.
It’s a non-alcoholic apéritif that offers a naturally invigorating, refreshingly bitter taste. Based on an old French family recipe, revived and modernized in Berlin, each sip carries an old tradition and a personal story.
What sets VOLÉE apart from other non-alcoholic apéritifs is its complex flavor profile. The acidity of verjus, the juice of unripe grapes from Rheinhessen, combined with the mild sweetness of ripe fruits and the bitter note of quinine gives VOLÉE its unique taste. Containing only a hint of organic cane sugar and completely free from chemical stabilizers it’s truly an Apéritif Naturel!
Meet The Founders
Founders Jakob and Benjamin, met through their shared passion for exceptional drinks and good company.
Both share a deep love for the apéritif culture but realized early on that those who don't drink alcohol are at a clear disadvantage. They decided to fill this alcohol-free gap with something they love—the lifestyle of apéritif culture.
In 2020, they co-founded the brand Avaa Verjus and from it the Avaa Verjus Spritz was created. It quickly became clear: The world was more than ready for an apéritif that could be enjoyed without alcohol.
From Verjus, it was only a short step to VOLÉE. As an homage to the house apéritif of Jakob's childhood friends, Jean and Amandine, the founders created the first Apéritif Naturel—a combination of all the great things they discovered and learned over the years together.

The non-alcoholic apéritif made purely from natural ingredients. Based on a secret family recipe from the Mediterranean coast of southern France, it offers a refreshing taste of grapefruits, juicy mountain peaches and elderflower.
